Our new SD Xcise AirMic headset system offers true wireless freedom without the hassle of a beltpack or any cables. Featuring a super sleek, lightweight headset with a durable, secure and comfortable fit, this 2.4g wireless system provides high quality sound that’s ideal for fitness instructors and active performers.
The headset is fitted with a small transmitter that sits comfortably on the back of the head. Unlike some completely wireless systems, this transmitter is tiny and as it’s rechargeable it’s much lighter as no AA or AAA are required. As the Transmitter is built onto the headset it means that no bodypack is required and therefore no cables from a pack to the headset.
The Receiver is also very small and sleek in design. This is also rechargeable and therefore no cables are required again. Both the Transmitter and Receiver have inbuilt Li-ion batteries ensuring they’re extremely lightweight and very reliable. The Receiver has a built in 3.5mm Jack plug with a 6.3mm adaptor. This allows it to plug straight into a mic socket on a speaker or sound system. It can also connect straight into a smart phone, tablet or DSLR camera.

Fabulous mic! Spoke with Stuart prior to ordering to check it would sync with my speaker and did I need any further wires etc, which I didn’t. Ordered and received very promptly. Used in my face to face community classes and sound was brilliant with positive feedback from members. Very easy to use and comfortable to wear. Probably the best fit mic I’ve had, as usually I struggle to fit properly due to a small head.

I am a ((BOUNCE)) Instructor, and was dubious about this mic, staying on my head! I have use it for about 3 weeks, 3 classes a week, and I have to say it is amazing! The sound is perfect, so easy to set up. No wires, which is fantastic, especially when you are doing toning on a trampoline, as there are no worries of getting tangled up. The service was top notch, the managing director was so helpful, I have used sound dynamics for all my equipment for the last six years and the service is always 10 out of 10! I teach a variety of Les Mills classes, freestyle weights, LBT, body conditioning and Yoga, both in various studios and online on Zoom. This is a superb microphone – I have had it for a couple of weeks now. The sound quality is amazing, crystal clear and even better than the Trantec head mic I was using which I had always thought was very good. I was looking for a back up mic but have not been impressed with any of the bluetooth options I have seen so far. This one is ideal – I love the wire free element and the fact I am not rolling onto my transmitter pack now on the ground. This will without a doubt be my primary microphone – I also use it when I teach hybrid classes (live and people Zoom in) and it has been a fab experience in the studio and at home. When I review recordings, again so impressed with the sound quality. It’s really simple to use and as it is can be charged with a cable there is no need for batteries any more. Hurrah! I generally charge after 4 hours of teaching and it works fine for that length of time. The set up is so easy and quick – and I used to get feedback in the speaker every now and again from the Trantec, no longer something I need to worry about. I can’t recommend this enough.
