Built to bring sound and light anywhere, the QULA portable PA is a rechargeable active 2 x 8″ PA speaker with a choice of audio inputs and dynamic multi-colour light shows. Supplied with a headset/neckband microphone with wireless bodypack transmitter, this unit lends itself to fitness instructors and dance teachers, but is also perfect for house parties, presenters or just for at home and in the gardens!. There is an additional wired microphone input and even an echo effect for singers. Music sources include an internal Bluetooth® receiver, USB/micro-SD mp3 player and an FM tuner. An external audio line input can be used for an mp3 player, smart phone or other audio source, and a further input for guitar is included for buskers and solo performers. All settings can be accessed from the top panel or via the included remote control handset. An exciting and versatile speaker for performers and trainers in almost any environment.

I bought this speaker having seen it in person at IFS 2024. I was indecisive and actually bought it the morning after I got home, it arrived at my house approx 26 hours later, extremely quick delivery.
The speaker is brilliant, I hold my classes in a large parish hall, the sound quality is excellent even on the highest volume setting. It comes with its own microphone too, perfect for new fitness instructors or those looking to change up their kit.
I really like that it comes with a remote so that if needed, I don’t have to go over to the speaker each time to change settings throughout my class. It’s very eye catching with the LEDs on the front, however you are able to turn these off should you want to.
Battery life – I’ve ran it two times now using the mains charger, and then once for a 1 hour class running off the battery. When using the battery power it showed no signs of the battery deteriorating despite having the volume quite high and all the lights on, so perfect if you ever need to take a class outside etc.
Brilliant speaker and I’m glad I chose this one. As always, the customer service from Sound Dynamics was top class, and proof as to why instructors use this company time and time again.
