Overview…
The Emic is a lower cost, sweat protected and waterproofed* fitness headset for the independent instructor. It’s also suitable for some group fitness instruction in the slightly less busier studios for around 2 to 3 classes per day or up to around 20 classes a week. The noise cancelling capsule makes it a very good headset for gentle exercise classes like Yoga, Pilates and Aqua Fitness were a closer mic position for a calm and controlled voice is preferred.
The Emic’s comfort factor has recently been improved with a self-adjusting headband replacing the two part lockable cap strap found on other brands of similar looking headset mics that are not as well made for fitness instruction. Spare foam protective windshields can be purchased at any time.
The Emic Headsets are available in seven different colours; Yellow, Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Purple and Black.
The Emic is compatible with many different brands of wireless transmitters including Fitness Audio, Shure, Trantec, Sennheiser, LD ECO2, SD ‘Black ‘n’ Orange’, Audio Technica and many others.
